I had just got off the ferry and I automatically smelt the salt in the air. I could see the beach. The waves crashing in the distance instantly made me excited. What would the house be like? When will my family get here? When my family finally got there 10 minutes later, we sped to the beach and I went on the paddle board. I paddled all the way to the boats. It was maybe 50 or more metres. My sister Mia went on another paddle board and accompanied me. I was scared but I kept on paddling. I fell off hundreds of times but I got back up and paddled and paddled till I got back to shore. When I got back I was starving but that didn’t stop me from going back out. By the time I got back the second time it was time for lunch. We had some of the best fish and chips I had ever had. We were just about to head back to the beach when we all realized we all could use some rest - especially the baby cousins. Our holiday fun would have to wait.
