Area and Perimeter ROBOT!

In the last half of term we have been learning Area and Perimeter. We have done multiple things including Area and Perimeter bedrooms and robots. I am very proud of my work because I worked very hard but found it really fun and I learned how to use area and perimeter properly.
It is really good using google sheets. I hope you think to try it.

Maori Fry Bread

Today we made Maori fry bread to share with our buddy class because it is Matariki and it is tradition  to share food with someone. It was amazing and easy. All you have to do is mix water and self raising flour in to a dough. Then cut it and fry it in oil. Here are some photos of our experience.

I hope you get to try make fry bread. It is so good.

Talofa lava
This week was Samoan language week and we learnt how to shave a coconut with Falete and Hamida. It was really good fun. You have to sit on a wooden plank with a blade on the end and then you had to twist the flesh  of the coconut on the blade.  Here are some photos from our experience. I hope you get to try shaving a coconut someday. It looks very fun.
